Ipalgic: (adv) a longing to be.

Welcome to Ipalgic, where archery and mindfulness training converge to unlock the essence of being. Derived from the Greek word "yparxi," meaning to be (akin to the Spanish word "ser"), and "algos," representing a profound longing (much like nostalgia yearns for home), Ipalgic embodies the inherent desire to exist within each of us. At Ipalgic, we believe that this longing can be fully realized in every moment. Our unique approach combines archery and playful experiences, offering opportunities to comprehend the process and potential of your existence. With our guidance, you will acquire the knowledge and skills required to aim as a cohesive team towards any target you desire. Join us on this transformative journey where archery and mindfulness intertwine, cultivating a harmonious state of being that will enhance you and your team.

Leadership at Ipalgic, provided by CEO and Founder Daniel Cook, has over been shaped by 20 years of experience leading and educating in the U.S. Army and National Guard, UC Riverside, Cal State Channel Islands, UC Santa Barbara, CSU Bakersfield, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and multiple K-12 schools. Traveling the world to over 12 countries at a young age has shaped our values - compassion, abundance, intention, optimism, and grit. Here, we value all people, cultures, abilities, and identities. We seek to provide a sense of belonging for everyone and will collaborate with you to accommodate any special needs.

The diversity of experience and teams that developed Ipalgic makes us stand out in the community of professional growth. Though we employ the leadership philosophy of the US Army, we follow an academic pool of evidence based best practices. We've learned that any achievement comes from within, and we cultivate the ability to find that place rather than pushing against resistance. We don't just teach, we provide a meaningful experience through archery and play. We seek to connect individuals with the power within themselves to empower their teams to achieve high functioning success.

Letter from a student:

Before I met Danny Cook, mindfulness meditation was just a buzzword for me. I knew it was "good" for me, but I couldn't seem to quiet my mind for long enough to give it a real shot. Then, I stumbled upon Danny's class, and everything changed.

From the moment I walked in, Danny's warm presence and genuine enthusiasm for the practice put me at ease. He didn't preach or judge, but simply guided us through the practice with clear instructions and gentle humor. He explained the science behind mindfulness in a way that resonated, and made it clear that this wasn't some mystical woo-woo, but a practical tool for navigating the complexities of life.

What truly impressed me was Danny's ability to tailor his teaching to individual needs. He understood that everyone's experience with meditation is different, and offered modifications and adjustments that made the practice accessible and effective for everyone. He created a safe space where we could explore our inner world without judgment, and where even the most seasoned meditators could find new insights.

The impact of Danny's teaching has been profound. I've noticed a significant shift in my ability to manage stress and anxiety. I'm more present in my relationships, and I'm able to navigate difficult emotions with greater clarity and compassion. Even on the busiest days, I can find a few minutes to anchor myself in the present moment, thanks to the tools Danny has given me.

If you're looking for a way to de-stress, improve your focus, or simply find a little more peace in your daily life, I wholeheartedly recommend Danny Cook's mindfulness meditation teaching. He's not just a teacher, he's a guide, and his passion for the practice is truly contagious. I'm so grateful to have found him, and I know you will be too.

Sincerely,

Behr Skogstrom
